Introduction to the Research: Sound Intellectual Methodology and the Internal Linguistic Derivation of the Quran

In fact, I do not know how to start my introduction, for praise (h-m-d حمد) is not what we understand nor is gratitude (sh-k-r شكر) what we believe so that I may begin my words with them! Have we ever asked ourselves one day whether we truly understand what we read in the Book of God? Could there be new and deeper interpretations of this great text? This is the question that we pose and attempt to answer in this research.

In these articles, I will present a new vision of some basic concepts in religion, relying on the Quranic text itself and based on a careful and deep reading. I will focus in particular on those concepts around which many myths and false interpretations have spread. I realize that these ideas may be new to many, and may conflict with prevailing beliefs.

This research journey, which spanned more than ten years, led me to discover a fundamental flaw in our understanding of the Quran, which is the insertion of inherited traditions and extraneous ideas in an attempt to understand its verses. So it was necessary to be purified from these ideas, and to return to the Quranic text with detachment.

Pillars of the Intellectual Methodology Followed in the Research

The methodology followed in the research is simply based on Islam, which does not mean at all submission, surrender, or peace, but rather following an intellectual methodology that leads to a sound destination through following the straight path, which is condensed into three basic steps out of 9 to which human sources of noise have crept:

• The First Step: Epistemological Purification : Beginning with complete purification from external sources of noise, such as inherited tradition and human history written dynamically outside the primary text.
• The Second Step: Abstract Research : Reviewing all texts in which the element to be researched is mentioned to determine its exclusive meaning from its multiple contexts within the Quran.
• The Third Step: Demolishing Preconceptions : Not imposing ready-made meanings before reflection. For example, if the research is about the Gospel (Injeel), one must not assume in advance that it is a physical paper book, or that it descended exclusively upon Jesus to the Children of Israel, but rather all of that must be verified through texts supporting it from the Quran itself. In this way, the structure becomes sound, the meaning becomes upright, and the texts align.

I thought to begin my articles by reviewing fatal errors that we circulate in what we call religion. You, dear reader, may initially find it impossible to believe what is written, despite the huge amount of evidence that I will address, especially in the first four articles, which deal with basic concepts that must be corrected to demolish the intellectual inheritance stuck in the mind. For what you will find in the pages of this site is truly amazing and reveals the greatness of this Book away from the myths and legends upon which we found our forefathers and God did not command us with them.

You will also notice that I reduce my writing and intensify mentioning its verses, for this is safer, so that you become accustomed to its tongue and its pattern reaches you, so you move to a higher stage in your understanding and perception and no longer need someone else to instruct you. Therefore, I will be keen to present the evidence and proofs that support my views, and I will be open to discussion and dialogue with others. My goal has never been and will never be self-victory and its desire, because I know well that humanity thrivs through an integrated system and not through scoring imaginary individual winning points.

What you will read here may be unique, so I invite you to receive it with detachment and patience. You have the choice to accept or reject it, and these writings are available to everyone without any copyrights, for my goal is higher than that. And know also that the zero hour is imminent after we reached, due to our failure, the most decrepit age; so we either accept change and move forward to build what we were made successors in, or God’s command comes and inherits the earth to his righteous servants. So I hope you can bear with me patiently.
